VOLUNTEERS

Community PALS is developing an exciting new volunteer pilot scheme to support the work of the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

The first stage of this project is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who have an hour or two available weekly to promote the PALS service in their local area. They would do this by ensuring that the local community health providers (GP's, Pharmacists, Opticians etc.) were provided with sufficient leaflets and posters about the service and understood the PALS role. Training & support will be provided for volunteers.

As a Volunteer you will play a crucial role in achieving PALS goals of helping residents to resolve concerns, gain information or access services of the NHS.

If you are interested in becoming a part of this exciting new project for Gloucestershire, and would like further information please contact Mary Dignan at Community PALS on 0800 0151 548

We look forward to hearing from you
